DE-OX SUB EXPEDITION HELIUM/OXYGEN ANALYSER
The programming and analysis computer DE-OX® SUB is the most up-to-date analyser for respiratory mixtures provided with digital technology and has also been adopted by the Italian Navy.
DE-OX® SUB is a valuable accessory to visualise useful data for correctly planning and managing dives with mixed gases. It has been expressly developed for binary and ternary mixture analysis like Nitrox, Heliox and Trimix. The DE-OX SUB has visual and sound alarms for maximum and minimum percentages reached for each analysed gas and two relays with exchange contacts connected to the alarms.
DE-OX® SUB uses innovative sensors developed by TEMC for respiratory use, and is also designed for monitoring respiratory parameters in saturation dives. Each instrument is produced and tested with 5 known sample helium mix gases in order to provide the best measurement accuracy (less than 1%) and repeatability. The errors of every sensor are recorded into the firmware of each instrument in order to minimize the errors and to produce a linear reading curve. The instrument has the Helium compensation when there is a high oxygen % (more than 40%) this is due to different temal conductivity of oxygen compared to air, that non compensated instruments read like helium content.
DE-OX® SUB is linkable to a personal computer and alows firmware upgrade of the microprocessor. Upon request, it is also possible to bind together a carbon dioxide sensor to simultaneously analyse up to six gases.
