This Sealed SMB from AP Valves can be used as a delayed action deco-buoy or inflated prior to the dive and used as a dive duration SMB for drift dives, and is also useful as a distress flag which unlike normal open ended "sausage-style" SMBs can be waved to attract attention. Inflate at depth using your octopus and the SMB will automatically seal. The pressure dump valve prevents the buoy from over inflating and allows deflation after the dive.
You can make a delayed action decompression marker buoy by attaching it to a line or reel or alternatively simply inflate at the start of a dive and tow as a standard surface marker.
