Browns Bay - Cullercoats
Key Information
Visibility - Generally Very Good 3m+, (10m on a good summers day with a few days W winds)
Depth - 9m max
Difficulty - Novice upwards. Its a really fantastic shore dive site lots to see
Currents - Although a sheltered site check tides before diving, high water is always best but check local dive shop
Hazards - Entry / Exit is fairly rocking at low tide be very careful. Also kelp forests and fishing lines. At all times have a knife.
